Title: "Look At My Eye(s), Not My Lips" Drawn by Bonita Adair Paper 53 sketch Image Description: i always try to emphasize that I can not read lips. When someone approaches to me, tries to speak, and repeats what it was being said. I gestured that I could not understand and ask nicely to write it down. She/he did not understand why I did not take speech class. I had to explain to them that I quitted. I raised by Deaf family. I rely on visions and use ASL. Not all Deaf people could speak. So eyes plus visions equal ASL.
"The spiral that flows from of origin" Arnaud Balard I like to dream. I like to idealize. Thank you to the art of allowing me to dream. I am certainly an utopist but I assume myself.

The Fibonacci Law. David Call Graphite/ink The audiologist scientists had been baffled by why Deaf people didn't follow the Fibonacci Law because the Fibonacci Law state that everything in nature is made possible with Fibonacci sequence and math formula. They had been hard at work and they came up with this diagram and it all points to auditory neuropathy deep inside skull. They must follow the law to keep the nature in order by surgically implant the Deaf people with CI. It failed miserably. They went crazy with madness and keep on working in Fibonacci problem. They simply forget that we are just human with the gift of Deaf. This is a serious case of scientific philosophy vs humanism.

Stevie Naeyaert "4th Grade Reading Level" Created on iPad w/ Apple Pencil using #Paper53 App #MadeByPaper [image: Slinky going down steps. Top step says "6/2016. Bottom step says 9/2016. Red lettering between steps says "Reading Test Scores".] I saw a presentation done a few years ago about how many deaf kids score much lower on reading test after 3 months of summer vacation. Almost one grade level back. It takes them about 6 months to go back to the level they were at the end of last academic year. That statistic is depressing. The reason for this is more likely -‐ lack of ASL and books at home.

I paint a lot of spirals, lots of metaphysical, reiki, energy stuff. Thought i might just use one i have. Considering it, knowing I've done a piece daily for the whole project thus far, may as well create again today. Not in love with flowers, it used to be something i did often, BUT the catharsis was awesome (even though throughout i have children testing my hearing. Does that ever get old? Ha!).
