DAY 2 LAMAY - PISAQ - VIACHA

Depart Lamay Lodge.
Visit the town of Pisaq and market.
After a short drive we reach the village of Viacha.
Activity BAmaru - Viacha Hike
Depart Lamay Lodge to the community of Amaru.
Moderate hike to Viacha.
Arrive at the village of Viacha.
Shared ProgramVisit to the community of Viacha and the archeological site of Pisaq
Walk around Viacha, and learn more about the agricultural activities of the community.
Enjoy a traditional meal cooked under hot stones called Pachamanca.
Guided tour of the archeological site of Pisaq.(Optional: Hike from the ruins to the town of Pisaq)

Depart Huacahuasi Lodge by vehicle to Sacred Valley.
Visit the market in the town of Calca. (Optional: Bike ride along the river in Sacred Valley + Brewery).
Visit to a museum of historical artifacts in the valley.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Drive to Ollantaytambo and explore the town.
Guide briefing followed by dinner.
Activity BHike to Huacahuasi Waterfalls
Depart from the lodge.
Visit to the community of Huacahuasi and easy walk to nearby waterfall.
Snack by the waterfall.
Return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon at leisure.

Activity BHike from Huacahuasi to Patacancha
Leave Huacahuasi Lodge and start hiking.
Arrive at Ipsaycocha Lake.
Lunch at the lake.
Continue the hike to the village of Patacancha.
Meet our vehicles and drive to the town of Ollantaytambo.
Arrive at our hotel in Ollantaytambo.
Guide briefing followed by dinner.
Activity CQuiswarani to Huacahuasi
Depart from the lodge and drive to the village of Quiswarani.
Moderate to strenuous hike to Quelwacocha Lake.
Lunch by the lake.
Hike to the small community of Quelquena where our vehicles will be waiting.
Arrive back at Huacahuasi Lodge.

DAY 3 LAMAY - LARES - HUACAHUASI
Leave Huacahuasi Lodge by Vehicle to Lares Pass.
Easy hike.
Hike to the town of Totora.
Meet our vehicles and drive to the Sacred Valley.
Lunch at Kuychi Rumi Lodge.
DAY 7 MACHU PICCHU SANCTUARY AND RETURN TO CUSCOShared ProgramMachu Picchu Sanctuary guided tour & return to Cusco
Depart from the hotel for the bus ride to Machu Picchu Sanctuary.
Guided tour of the Inka citadel.
Optional activities (A & B).
Lunch at Inkaterra Pueblo Hotel back in the town.
Walk to the train station.
Board the train to Ollantaytambo.
Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, we board our private vehicle for the return drive to Cusco.
Arrive Cusco.Optional: Early visit to Machu Picchu on your own. Must join the group at the entrance for the guided visit .
Activity AFree time in Machu Picchu
Free time to explore the ruins on your own. Recommended excursion to the Sun Gate.
Activity BHuayna Picchu Hike
Guided hike of Huayna Picchu peak and ruins from where you have amazing views of the sanctuary below.
DAY 6 OLLANTAYTAMBO TO MACHU PICCHU PUEBLO
Shared ProgramOllantaytambo Archeological Site and Machu Picchu Pueblo
Guided tour of the archeological site of Ollantaytambo.
Free time to explore the town and market on your own.
Walk to train station.
Board the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo with box lunch.
Arrive at Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes) and check inat the Inkaterra Pueblo Hotel.
Free afternoon.Guide briefing followed by dinner.
Optional late breakfast at the hotel and meet at the archeological site for the guided tour.
Activity AHike to lower Pinkuylluna Ruins
Easy hike to Pinkuylluna, an Inka site with great views of the valley.
Meet the rest of the group at the archeological site in Ollantaytambo.
