Dawson Elementary is sponsoring a Food
Drive. From December 1st through 12th.
All donations collected are donated locally.
This is a wonderful opportunity to show
your child the true meaning of Christmas
and the spirit of giving.
Each class will have a donation box outside
of their classroom where items may be
placed.
Suggested items include, but not limited to:
Any canned goods
Pastas
Macaroni
Rice
Beans
NO ACE—Early Release
Please be sure and make a note on your
calendar that there is NO ACE on
December 9th and December 11th.
Dawson Elementary is hosting UIL on
our campus this year, school will dismiss
at 12:30 p.m. If your child is not
participating in a UIL event on these
scheduled days, they either need to be
picked up or ride the bus home that day.
Please make arrangements now for this
early release. If your child does not
participate, they DO NOT stay.
Christmas Program
Dawson Elementary will be having it’s
annual Christmas program at the Family
Life Center. It will be broken up into
two groups this gives families a chance
to come and see their children perform
and then leave so the so the next group
of parents and family may watch their
future “stars”.

Pre—K through 1st grade will perform
at 6:00 p.m.
2nd through 4th grade will perform at
6:30 p.m.
Come out and get into the holiday spirit
with some good old fashion Christmas
carols and maybe some new ones...you
will just have to come and see.

News!!! We’ve been busy
this year!!!!!
The Fall Book Fair
was a success.
Thanks to everyone who bought books. Our next
Book Fair is in February.
Feed the Dawgs campaign brought in
$324.21. Thanks to all our students!!!!
A special shout out to 4th grade they
brought in $149.78!!!! Mrs. Gray’s 5th
grade had the most creative can. They
really enjoyed their ice cream
parties!!!
We teamed up with the A.C.E.
program for Family Painting and Movie Night. We all
had the best time.
