Executive SummaryBALAKALAKAAR is an initiative taken up by the local office ofAIESEC in Ahmedabad. This event is aligned to the cause of
building an environment that helps improve the quality of life thatis faced by the underprivileged children in our city. It is thecreation of an opportunity to help them discover and developtheir potential in creative exercises such as Art, Dance, Drama,Music, and Crafts etc.
Children got the opportunity to learn art forms, dance, drawing, music etc. and were able to discover what they actually are good
at. Above all, it will be a day where underprivileged children hadfreedom to enjoy themselves thoroughly while learning new thingsand practical solutions for their lifestyles. By involving some of thetop corporate houses in the city and celebrities apart from theNGO Partners, we created a platform where people from all thesedifferent walks of life came together to identify the walk of talentin these children and also interacted and created a huge networkwhich is a very valuable asset. Scholarships to students were also
awarded with a drawing competition for all the children.
