Leadership: In order to lead you must learn how to follow, I have worked alone and in teams. I

have led and managed groups of 5 to 150 people, I have completed all Army leadership courses thru my final rank of Staff Sargent.

Training: Served as a teacher/ trainer/ instructor throughout my adult life, I have completed

several instructor courses and the “Total Army Instructor Training Course” designed to give potential trainers the skills to teach any subject effectively.

Communication: Comfortable addressing small or large groups. I have delivered presentations

and briefings to associates and to senior military officers, including general officers. Routinely

EXPERIENCE ACTIVE ARMY__________________________________ Mar 2014 – May 2006 Active Army

Handpicked by the Battalion Commander to serve as the Battalion Retention Manager,

responsible for career management and progression for over 300 + enlisted service members. Achieved 140% of retention goal set by the Pentagon.

Selected to work above pay grade for the Brigade, to manage all liquid logistics, Fuel and Water. Worked with one of the company level units to create training and tracking

programs to manage all fuel and water distribution, accurately tracked and billed more than $3,000,000.00 + in diesel fuel. Dispatched water distribution for 5 company level

units and over 4,000 + soldiers. Team Leader, Supervisor Water Purification Unit for 702d Battalion. Chosen above

peers to lead 20 person Water Treatment Team to distribute water to 42,000 cadets. Led the testing and distribution of 245,000 gallons of potable water and the maintenance and upkeep for $845,000 worth of equipment.

Chosen to be part of a Goodwill Ambassador Team for US Forces Korea, Conducted over 30 demonstrations for US and Korean Delegations. Selected as Team Leader and official spokesman.

Team Leader Water Purification Unit Chosen above peers to lead a 50 member team to West Point for 70 days, Oversaw the welfare and well-being of all members of the team and completed over 800 + missions with no accidents.

April of 2003: Deployed to Iraq as Combat Medic Non Commission Officer.

Station operations at Camp Cedar Iraq.

Fall of 2002: Assistant Fitness Director Western Carolina University.

Served as responsible person in charge of primary weight room facility and as the Aquatics Director. Activated for National Guard Dec 2002.
