David Naglieri, Director, Everyday Heroes David Naglieri is an Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker and television producer. He is renowned for his 2016 feature length documentary: Liberating a Continent; John Paul II and the Fall of Communism, which earned five Emmy nominations. The production was labelled a "documentary masterpiece," by First Things magazine. As the man behind hundreds of TV programs, corporate videos and national TV commercials being broadcast internationally, David’s successful career propelled him to earn a PEW fellowship to study the influence of religion on contemporary global affairs in 2002. He developed some of his skills as a writer and producer while working for Salt & Light Television in Toronto. David holds a Master's Degree in International Relations from Boston University and a Bachelor's Degree in History from Marist College.

Carl A. Anderson, Executive producer, Everyday Heroes

Carl A. Anderson is the 13th supreme knight of the Knights of Columbus. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman for the organisation, the world’s largest Catholic family fraternal group, which has almost two million members.

He is the author of the New York Times bestseller, A Civilization of Love: What Every Catholic Can Do To Transform The World; co-authored Lady of Guadalupe: Mother of the Civilization of Love, also a New York Times bestseller; co-edited The Way of Love: Reflections on Pope Benedict XVI's Encyclical Deus Caritas Est; co-authored Called to Love: Approaching John Paul II’s Theology of the Body and author of Beyond a House Divided: The Moral Consensus Ignored by Washington, Wall Street and the Media.

Prior to his appointment as supreme knight, Mr. Anderson maintained a notable career as a public servant and educator. He has served in various positions of the Executive Office of the President of the United States, including special assistant to the President and acting director of the White House Office of Public Liaison. After that position, he served for nearly a decade as a member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. In 1988, he became the founding vice president and first dean of the Washington, D.C., session of this graduate school of theology, now located at the Catholic University of America.

He was named one of the "100 Most Influential in Business Ethics" in 2014 and 2015, by Ethisphere. He was awarded the Order of Merit from the government of Poland and the Evangelium Vitae Medal from the University of Notre Dame in 2015.

Mr. Anderson has led the Knights in a variety of charitable endeavours including a partnership with Project Medishare, establishing the Healing Haiti's Children program, which has provided approximately 1,000 victims in Haiti with prosthetic limbs in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake that devastated that country. He also launched the Christian Refugee Relief Fund, a charitable initiative that has raised more than $18 million to benefit persecuted Christians in the Middle East.

Supreme knight Anderson holds degrees in philosophy from Seattle University and in law from the University of Denver. He is a member of the bar of the District of Columbia and is admitted to practice law before the U.S. Supreme Court.
