Process Medline supply orders: Staff Supplies Car Stock - Place orders online. Patient Supplies - Place order online Daily periodic walk-in help requests for various random tasks, example: Printing request, checking on supply order request, lifting heavy object or moving/transport object request, random computer h elp with semi-basic function errors, or program software issues like Word or Excel documents. Request Patient Information from requests by Team RN (Example is requesting last 5 progress notes from previous MD for patient and H&P). Send Lab Results - Scan / email results to team RN and cc: team manager and Primary MD. When PSR’s & Triage have lines busy, answer phones and update Call-Log, email RN or requested party of phone call if necessary, transfer call if necessary (see PSR call duties). Periodic Certified Mailing requests. IDG Preparation for all PODS (Monday – Wednesday). DNR’s: Check DNR for order MD Order in Allscripts, have DNR signed at IDG if necessary. Create; process, print and faxing of Allscripts CTI’s with follow up calling MD’s for signature requests (usually twice a week). Create Hospice Communicator each Friday afternoon, email out following Monday morning to Communicator distribution list. Once a week check and correct Field Status Claims in Allscripts. Periodically Assist Team Managers in Help with scheduling in finding coverage for CHHA patient visits and informing Managers of CHHA availability. Periodically help with weekend ECS scheduling and answering phones/PSR duties on the weekend.

Oversees CHHA scheduling; involving, creating the schedule for each Home Health Aide in Allscripts and on an Excel

Spreadsheet to report to each Team Manager. Places patient medical supply orders and respons ible for various

operational tasks needed to help Cl inicians such as: Ordering supplies for Cl inicians, preparing in ful l every part of

documentation for an Interdisciplinary Group Meeting (IDG) requiring extension knowledge and use of Al l scripts ,

providing each day a morning report on Team Census, New Admits, Transfers, Discharges , Deaths , PTO dates for

Cl inicians. Required to task RN visits in Allscripts . Respons ible for answering many phone ca l l s each day and

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

I consider myself the best in my position at San Diego Hospice. I put the most effort, come to work on

time or early and have an amazingly good working relationship with the Clinicians & CHHAs. I am

someone that can be counted on with full trust to get the task accomplished correctly and better than

what was expected. I have great respect for my co-workers and understand that we need to always work

as a Team and not as an individual. I have strong leadership skil ls and am able to share and give reports

in groups with large amounts of people. I enjoy being personable with everyone and feel that it helps our

working relationship and it develops friendships. I understand that this is a business but people also

want to feel respected and important and I try my best to accomplish this with as many people as I can. I
