Feb 9-10 1 Lock-in and games in Denver Fun Center activities, movies, etc. Feb 15-17 2 Okpik High Adventure at Tahosa Winter camping skills plus a night in a quinzee (snow cave). Mar 1-3 2 ILST at PV Semi-annual training for incoming leadership class. Apr 5-7 2 New Scout welcome camp at PV Shooting sports will be available for qualified scouts. May 17-19 2 Royal Gorge Country Hiking, fishing, and attractions (the world’s 3 rd -highest bridge). Jun TBD 3 Senior Scout backpacking Location and dates TBD once we know interest. Jun 23-29 6 Summer Camp at PV Jul 7-14 7 Northern Tier High Adventure Boundary Waters canoe area in Minnesota/Ontario. Jul 19-21 2 Rafting the Arkansas River All day rafting trip plus camping at the foot of Mt. Shavano. Aug 9-11 2 14er: Mt Elbert Colorado’s highest at 14,433’. Camping near Turquoise Lake. Aug 23-25 2 ILST at Tahosa Semi-annual training for incoming leadership class. Sep 6-8 2 Backpacking We’ll make it a 2-night trek if enough interest, otherwise 1 night. Sep 20-22 2 DAC Camporee at PV Like the Olympics, the Camporee comes only once every 4 years. Oct 4-6 2 Great Sand Dunes National Park Optional overnight in the dune field for qualified scouts. Oct 18-20 2 Senior Scout backpacking TBD based on interest. Lower altitude or Colorado Plateau. 18 age or rank restricted camping nights 22 unrestricted camping nights TOTAL: 40
