The products listed below contain no material that requires a Material Safety Data Sheet. This is in compliance with 29 CFR 1910.1200 (The Hazard Communication Standard), and under that standard this material is not hazardous.

Reinforced Concrete Pipe manufactured to ASTM C76 specifications.

Elliptical Reinforced Concrete Pipe manufactured to ASTM C507 specifications.

General Safety and handling precautions should be strictly adhered to when handling and working with these materials.

ENGINEER MATERIALS SPECIFICATIONSPipe: Storm and Culvert

1. Storm Sewer Pipe or Culvert Pipe shall meet reinforced ASTM C76 and, if elliptical, shall meet reinforced ASTM C507.

2. Joints for reinforced concrete storm sewer and/or culvert pipe will be profile rubber gaskets as heretofore specified. Elliptical reinforced pipe shall be profile rubber gaskets and/or cold adhesive.

3. Tests are at the option of the engineer or the pipe may be tested as per ASTM C497.

4. Storm sewer connection fittings (such as wyes, tees, and bends) shall be made in such a manner as will provide strength and tightness at least equal to the class of the adjacent pipe to which they are joined and shall conform to all other requirements specified for pipe of corresponding class and internal diameter. Joints shall be the same type as used on the adjoining pipe.

PLACE THE SELF-LUBRICATING GASKET AROUND THE SPIGOT END OF THE CONCRETE PIPE. THE GASKET BODYSHOULD REST FIRMLY AGAINST THE SPIGOT SHOULDER.

CENTER THE SPIGOT INTO THE RECEIVING BELL END,AND BRING PIPE TO HOME POSITION.

THE MANTLE SECTION OF THE SELF-LUBRICATING GASKET ROLLS OVER THE COMPRESSION AREA OF THE GASKETAND COMES TO REST IN THE ANNULAR SPACE.
