On 19th and 31st january,2015,The student members of Institution of Civil Engineers

(ICE),UK,Student Chapter At Narula Institute Of Technology Visited The newly Formed

Water Treatment Plant At DHAPA With A Capacity Of Producing 30 Million Gallons

ACTIVITIES AT THE PLANT:

It started with a warm welcome by the authorities of the treatment plant.The inquisitive

students were allowed to visit every part of the plant,and their functions in treatment of water

was profusely explained by the authorities and the guiding faculty members of civil

engineering department at NARULA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

The faculty members of civil engineering department shared their knowledge with the

students and corelated with the practical field.

Having gained the corelation with the theory the students had an opportunity to watch

The raw water being draged from river GANGA and treated into drinking water..

The sight was amusing and made the students feel the importance of being the part of

civil engineering society and serving the country with clean water as source of life.

At the end of the day the students of 3rd year looked excited and overwhelmed and are

looking forward for such more ventures in near future.

The total water treatment plant plan,which was visited and studied by the students.
