  • Faculty Teaching in Maine’s Nursing Programs – Current Vacant Full Time Positions

    PositionsHow long position(s) have been vacant and the qualifications for positions:

    We have a new faculty line for a fulltime doctorally prepared FNP faculty member; We have a replacement line for a fulltime doctorally prepared faculty member. Specialty area is open, but our preference is either Psych-Mental Health or Adult Med-Surg. Both positions were just posted.

    UMFK 1A person was hired. She will start in this spring 2018, bringing our total to 13 full time faculty.

    USM 2One position became vacant in December 2017 and requires a MS in Nursing. The other will be come vacant in August 2018 and requires a doctoral degree. Two more faculty are on phased retirement with one finishing in 2018-2019 and one finishing in 2019-2020.
