Module Overview

DEEP LEARNING EXPERIENCE

Quantargo offers a wide variety of training modules to cover all major aspects in data science ranging from basic statistics and modelling to machine learning and advan-ced reporting.

Modules are interconnected. They can be booked separately or can be part of a more extensive training programme.

Get first hands-on experience with the statis-tical environment R covering all aspects of the data analysis process: data import, transforma-tion, modelling, basic reporting and data export.

Advanced Data Wrangling and Visualisation with R

Efficiently transform and plot data using the most sophisticated tools available in R. Trans-form data in base-R, dplyr and data.table for rich, interactive data visualizations in ggplot2 and plotly.

Building Dashboards with R-Shiny

Bring your data to life with advanced reporting capabilities in R. Clearly communicate your in-sights with sophisticated interactive reports and dashboards using RMarkdown and Shiny.

Machine Learning with R

Get an introduction to all major (un-)supervised machine learning models and learn how to apply them in R. Employ such models in a business context with packages like caret, mlr and e1071.

Text Mining with R

Apply all components of a typical text mining processing pipeline. Relevant applications pre-sented through case studies include clustering, topic modelling and sentiment analysis of texts with packages like tm and quanteda.

Data Science in Teams

Use R effectively in large data science teams - manage code and processes to support con-tinuous integration and deployment. Navigate, integrate and submit code to public repositories like CRAN, Github and R-Forge.

Big Data with R

Analyze big data sets using multi-core pro-gramming and cluster computing with pa-ckages like parallel, sparklyr and SparkR. Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize R code. Integrate R and C++ through Rcpp.

Deep Learning with R

Apply deep neural networks and learn how models can be built and trained efficiently. Train models on real-world use cases inclu-ding image recognition and text mining using packages like keras and tensorflow.

R in the Cloud

Learn how to integrate R seamlessly in current cloud environments like Amazon AWS and Mi-crosoft Azure. Provision and work on clusters within your RStudio environment. Access and query data from object storages.

R in Finance

Solve problems in the areas of risk- and portfo-lio management based on numerous real-world examples including time series analysis, port-folio optimization, Monte Carlo simulation and trading strategies.

R for Excel Users

Use R as a complementary tool to your current Excel workflow and learn how pivot tables and VLOOKUP can be implemented in R. Create re-producible transformations and use the power of RMarkdown reporting.
