I then earned my MBA with a concentration in Information Security Management from Saint Leo University in 2009. Although I have taken several photography courses, most of my education comes from on-the-job experience capturing over 100 multi-faceted events. Originally from Walterboro, S.C., I am the oldest of four. One of my favorite pastimes growing up was taking pictures of my siblings and other family members. In later years, I spent nine years in the Army as a Telecommunications Specialist. Surviving the attack on the Pentagon on September 11, 2001 was a life changing experience that affirmed God had a purpose for my life. He has shown me that purpose through my wife, LaTonya, who is also a passionate photographer. She is the inspiration for, and Learning to lead by choosing to follow co-owner of, our family photography business, Highly Favored Photography, LLC. We know that it is because of our faith that God has blessed us with our first child, due in early December 2012. Highly Favored Photography has captured weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and many community service events such as March for Babies, Relay for Life, AIDS Walk Atlanta, and Walk Against Meth. Our motto is, “Capturing History, No Event Too Small”. I have also established Existing Light Foundational Ministries, Inc., which focuses on exposing young children to cultural events, art, and positive educational activities. I consider the opportunity to teach photography at Legacy an honor and privilege. I believe that photography is not only my passion, but it is also my purpose in life. Photography is the ministry that I enjoy the most. This is where God allows me to capture history (HIS-Story!) The only thing I love more than capturing His Story is teaching others how to do the same! I thank Legacy for allowing me to teach in the area of my passion and purpose. It is a blessing to be a part of the Legacy team.
