Dear Parents, Students, and Friends:

Welcome to the Charmion Performing Arts Center annual recital “Dancing Through The Decades.” The performance you are about to see is the result of a year’s dedication and hard work from all of our devoted instructors and students. Their greatest reward will be your thunderous applause. I know you will be as proud of your little stars as I am!

At Charmion Performing Arts Center, we are committed to today’s complete performer. We care as much about training young performers as we do about educating responsible, dynamic leaders. We take great pride in truly providing the best performing arts education in the area. Our faculty has a genuine love and passion for teaching children.

New this year we added competition dance to our program Charmion Performing Arts Center Dance Team is composed of approximately thirty of the most talented and dedicated dancers from Charmion Performing Arts Center. Dance routines accentuate technique and style in many disciplines, such as tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. Our dancers competed in regional competitions this past season and performed remarkably well. Our competition teams are looking forward to going to nationals in June.

In closing, I am extremely pleased and proud to welcome you today. I thank you very much for being part of our family and for being part of this very exciting and much anticipated event! Enjoy the show…

Partners for Paws is a non-profit organization formed in November 2005 by a group of local volunteers with the sole purpose to raise funds to build and maintain a new dog shelter. The old shelter was over 50 years old an had merely 9 cages producing an 80% euthanasia rate. Due to the devoted efforts of the Partners for Paws volunteers and gracious community members, the new Pickaway County Dog Shelter became a reality and opened in March 2009.

Partners for Paws work is not done. The new facility increased from 9 cages to over 40. So, expenses increased. Partners for Paws continues to raise funds for the dog shelter through planned special events, grant writing, membership drives, and private donations. Additionally, Partners for Paws has implemented a spay & neuter program, rabies vaccinations, and continued medical care for all the dogs that come to the shelter, drastically improving the all of the dog's quality of life and helping reduce the euthanasia approximately 6%. By becoming a member, you can help make life better for the dogs at the shelter. Please visit our web site and our face book page.
