Dancing Citroen C4 comm ercial – This is clearly CGI as cars can’t turn into giant robots or dance. It could have feasibly been done with claymation, however the advert is too “crisp” and CGI is much faster. Flying Baby Xbox commerci al - This advert has real people in it, though the ageing of the baby is clearly CGI as it is far too quick. Stop-Motion could have been used, however the effect using CGI is much better in general and is probably faster. Halo 3 Superbowl advert This is an advert for the 3 rd game in the Halo series and as such is made entirely in CGI.

Astro Boy – This is an exclusively CGI film, obvious due to the squeaky clean appearance of the characters and their exaggerated features. This has been done to make the film visually different and more appealing than the usual cartoon that is hand drawn.

Avatar – The trailer for this film has extensive use of CGI in it, ranging from the blue skinned natives of the planet, to the giant robotic suits that the humans use to fight them. This only really works in CGI as the film is supposed to look realistic.

Castle Crashers – This game is made entirely in flash. This is obvious as all of the game is 2D and uses cartoony hand drawn style characters, and the game wouldn’t suit 3D models.

Metal Slug 3 – This game series is renowned for their detailed 2D pixels and frantic side-scrolling gun fights, so it wouldn’t actually work in 3D.
