Bruce is a potter who has combined the techniques of Raku Pottery, which is Japanese, and horsehair which is found in the desert southwest. Underglaze colors are sprayed on the pot before it is bisque fired. A clear glaze is used on the pot so the underglaze colors come through. After the pot comes out of the glaze kiln either horsehair is added creating a carbon trail design or the piece is submerged in sawdust creating a crackle effect. He will be exhibiting in Patrick Plautz’s barn on Gorman Ave in Willard.

Mary Jo is a self-taught artist who creates detailed pen, ink, and watercolor paintings, prints, and cards. Mary Jo’s studio is located near Willard just off County Rd G.

woods. He will be displaying work in his shop near Willard.

Bruce is a potter who has combined the techniques of Raku Pottery, which is Japanese, and horsehair which is found in the desert southwest. Underglaze colors are sprayed on the pot before it is bisque fired. A clear glaze is used on the pot so the underglaze colors come through. After the pot comes out of the glaze kiln either horsehair is added creating a carbon trail design or the piece is submerged in sawdust creating a crackle effect. He will be exhibiting in Patrick Plautz’s barn on Gorman Ave in Willard.

Bruce is a potter who has combined the techniques of Raku Pottery, which is Japanese, and horsehair which is found in the desert southwest. Underglaze colors are sprayed on the pot before it is bisque fired. A clear glaze is used on the pot so the underglaze colors come through. After the pot comes out of the glaze kiln either horsehair is added creating a carbon trail design or the piece is submerged in sawdust creating a crackle effect. He will be exhibiting in Patrick Plautz’s barn on Gorman Ave in Willard.
