Alexandre further says: “We put together our expertise in creating design and recipe concepts, using our most talented designers and working in close collaboration with the experts from Tetra Pak Ingre-dients Solutions in Denmark. Sessions take place with customer teams and we can come up with design sketches and recipes in as little as 12-15 minutes,” he explains. “We then go on to screen these concepts with consumers using online tool providers with which we have agreements in place.” “In 2 - 3 days spent with us at one of our Tetra Pak Customer Innovation Centres, a cus-tomer team literally walks away with design and recipe concepts with the potential to meet an opportunity and has a good indication on the ones which work best with target consum-ers,” he adds. There is, of course, a lot of pre-work going on before we get to the prototyping phase:

“We bring in our Business Insight and Analytics teams beforehand and will have been working with the customer teams to scout for business op-portunities and really understand what inspires and motivates each individual customer and for example their customers, their consumers, etc… Anything we do is tailored to each individual cus-tomer need or challenge,” he explains.

“It might be that a customer is looking to do something new or to improve an existing concept. Whatever, our teams are now geared to support across a range of areas including ideation, insights, branding, design, recipe facilitation, fast prototyping and digital pro-motion, for example,” he adds.
