By winning the Cox Plate day feature first taken out and re- named in honour of Inglis grad- uate Starspangledbanner, Dal- radian has captured the opening leg of the Inglis Triple Crown. To win the huge bonus, an In- glis graduate (in this case, Dal- radian) must win either the Ban- ner (tick) or the Inglis Nursery as the first leg. Leg two consists of the VRC or ATC Sires’ Produce on an ‘either’ basis but to secure the huge divi- dend, they MUST win the Inglis Guineas at the Scone stand-alone set down for May each year. How far Dalradian gets along the Triple Crown path remains to be seen but he’s already done a few favours for Chatswood Stud proprietor Greg Willis. Willis stands Dalradian’s sire, Reward For Effort, owns the gelding’s dam Miss Ireland and sold the horse to trainer Darren Weir at the 2015 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale for $55,000. “The two best money earners Reward For Effort has had so far, Gold Symphony and Dalra- dian, were both born and raised here with our brand on them so it’s really good for the Farm. By winning the Cox Plate day feature fi rst taken out and re-named in honour of Inglis grad-uate Starspangledbanner, Dal-radian has captured the opening leg of the Inglis Triple Crown.

To win the huge bonus, an In-glis graduate (in this case, Dal-radian) must win either the Ban-ner (tick) or the Inglis Nursery as the fi rst leg.
