REHEARSAL AUDIENCE Symphonic Encounters is an open rehearsal series, which means that attendees observe the orchestra preparing for a regular season concert. Our suggested age range for this program is from grade 6 up to adults. Please contact the Education Assistant if you require further information. REHEARSAL TIME Each rehearsal begins promptly at the time indicated. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start time and we request that everyone be seated inside the theatre 10 minutes prior to the start time. Late-comers will not be seated until an appropriate break in the rehearsal. REHEARSAL LENGTH Rehearsals run during the times indicated with a 20 minute rehearsal break that is usually called at the mid-way point of the rehearsal. MEET A MUSICIAN During the break, a VSO musician will be available to meet guests and to answer questions about the rehearsal process or a career in music.
