Flooding Recovery – Colorado Current Situation:

• US&R CO-TF-1 & NV-TF1 demobilized Sept 21;MO-TF1 will demobilize today, Sept 22 • All Denver water system dams are currently safe & not threatened • Platte River levels downstream in western/central NE cresting with no significant flood damage

Impacts: • 7 confirmed fatalities; 55 (-88) residents missing • 3,933 residents evacuated • 7 (-9) shelters open with 206 (-4) occupants (NSS 5:00 a.m. EDT, Sep 22) • 1,882 homes destroyed; 5,566 homes damaged • Water systems remain compromised in several counties; restoration efforts continue • 27 state highways remain closed, over 100 county roads & bridges estimated to be destroyed • Schools & postal operations will resume regular schedules on Monday, Sept 23 • Sporadic power/natural gas outages continue
