Features

1. Control the HDMI output view type. View fullscreen channels or view different grid types.

2. Control a new playback menu.View up to 4 camera at a time for any recorded 24hr period.

3. Alarm out over IP. Event alarm by channel and type over IP to your C4 processor. Video detection, IVS analytics and tamper.

NVR configurationBasics

Update the firmware on the NVR, this enables the API and the correct communication of the driver. Not updating the firmware will result in the driver reporting a status of busy or error.

1. Update the NVR firmware following these instructions. It can be completed by either usb stick or via internet explorer. Main menu>System>Upgrade. Copy the entire folder to a fat32 usb stick. Open the folder and select the following file Customer_NVR5XXX-4KS2_EngMultiLang_N_CGI_V3.216.00DM002.0.D.20190308.bin to start the update.

2. Once complete follow the NVR’s initial setup. See video

The NVR must already be setup on the same working network as the C4 processor. A static IP address, Gateway and DNS must have been set. Please follow this guide if required.

Advanced

In the Network menu navigate to Main menu>Network>Alarm Centre. In this menu, input the IP address of the C4 processor and use Port: 22322. Check the enable box and apply.

Alarm upload tick box also needs to be checked in any used event. Example in motion detect.

Composer ConfigurationBasics

1. Copy the driver to your composer driver library.2. Search for the driver and double click. Move to the correct location within your program.3. Input the username and password. Do not set the IP address yet.4. Confirm the above details are correct.5. Set the IP address within composer for the NVR. To do this navigate to Connections>Network

and select the NVR from the list. Input the NVR’s IP address.6. You can now test the driver, by utilising the remote emulator by double clicking the driver. Push

any number on the keypad which has a camera working to view full screen on the HDMI output.

7. While in the connection pane, select the AV tab and connect the HDMI output of the NVR to your device/display in your programming.

8. “Refresh Navigators”.9. You should now have the NVR control page on your handsets with control.

Advanced

Alarm events from each channel can be used within your programming. These can be used to activate lights or other activities you may wish within composer. Events available:

1. Navigate to Programming within Composer.2. Select the Dahua NVR within your system tree.3. In the drop down menu choose your channel and event/alarm type.4. Add your required actions and delays from the devices within composer from the right hand

menu.

OperationChanging view type on the HDMI output

Up, down, left and right can be used to control the view type of the HDMI output. Right and left are next and previous view respectively. Up and down will scroll through the different grid views.

The number keypad can be used to directly select a camera to view full screen. type 1, 1 for eleven. The coloured button can be mapped to select preferred grid view types.

Playback Menu

Next press Menu to call up the basic playback menu.

Up and down will change the figure in the highlighted field. Use Left and Right to navigate to the next or previous field. Up to 4 cameras can be selected.

Using the cursor options above, set:

Time DateRecord TypeChannel Number (Maximum 4 at any one time)

Record type and channel numbers have been chosen press okay to go to playback screen. Playback will start automatically. Playback is 24 hours at a time.

Fast Forward and rewind enable control of playback session. To view a new camera just start a new session.
