@todcon2016 to 81010!

DCON is coming up! It’s a great time to have fun, and

celebrate service from throughout the year, so make sure to

sign up!

On March 25th, Early Bird admission at $120 ends, and

the price will go to regular admission at $150. The hotel for

DCON, The Sheraton Dallas, costs $150/room/night.

Contact your LTG if you need help registering or

fundraising. For more information, check out the DCON

Rustic Pathways

With Rustic Pathways, you can travel

across the world and volunteer in developing

countries.

Every year, Key Clubbers can submit an

application for a Rustic Pathways Scholarship

and perform service abroad. The application

deadline is March 4th, and scholarship

recipients will be notified March 25th. Go to

www.rusticpathways.com and type ‘Scholarship

Application’ into the search bar.

Dues All clubs need to turn in dues by February

1st. If this deadline was not met, your club is on

suspension, and is excluded from certain

privileges, such as

district office, DCON, etc.

So TURN IN YOUR DUES!

To turn them in, go to www.keyclub.org/muc and

follow the instructions. Contact your LTG if you need

any help!

To: Humble High School,

Kingwood High School,

Kingwood Park High School,

Summer Creek High School,

and Westfield High School

Special Shoutout-

for paying their dues!!!

Get Dirty Earth Day

Nickelodeon is hosting this Earth Day

initiative to help the environment and get kids

active.

However, on Earth Day, we will be at District

Convention, so plan something early this year!

9

Mark your calendars for

March 8th – National

Pancake day!

The International House of Pancakes is

teaming up with the Children’s Miracle

Network to support children in local

hospitals.

So spread the word, and get some free

pancakes while you’re at it!

K-Family Konnections

To participate in this amazing initiative,

reach out to your local Kiwanis Clubs, Circle

K Clubs, Builders Clubs, K-Kids Clubs, and

Aktion Clubs by inviting them to meetings,

scheduling joint-fundraisers, volunteering

together, etc. So get ready to work with other

people who share your passion for helping

the community!

In every Key Club, it is

extremely important to

form bonds between

the different branches

of Key Club. In spirit

of this, don’t forget to

work on this year’s

Governor’s Project, K-

Family Konnections!
