THE SEVEN SACRED TEACHINGS

In some Nations, sweetgrass is

braided using seven strands.

Each strand represents one of

the Severn Sacred Teachings,

also known as the Grandfather

Teachings. When we follow

these teachings, we live in

greater harmony and peace,

not just in our own hearts and

lives, but also in our families,

schools, and society as a whole.
