CYCA Early Years

CYCA provide an extensive early years programme, giving children across the County all the support and care they need in preparation for the Foundation Phase. Our provision includes three CSSIW registered nurseries, each with their own unique characteristics and superb indoor and outdoor facilities, as well as a yoga inspired Tatty Bumpkin service.

Our Teddybears and Jellitotz Nurseries are run under the ‘Flying Start’ initiative, providing care for children aged 2-3 years old. With a team of highly qualified and bilingual staff, the children are treated to an enthralling programme of planned activities throughout the year.

The nurseries maintain close community links with nearby schools, as well as with other groups and organisations including

health professionals. Teddybears and Jellitotz are open during term time only. Session times: 9-11.30am and 12.30-3pm.

At CYCA, we are delighted to be able to offer the Tatty Bumpkin service as part of our early years provision. The award winning yoga inspired programme is aimed at children from 0-7 years old and we are proud to be the only providers in Wales of this internationally renowned service. Tatty Bumpkin runs in all of our Nursery settings and is available to external groups on request.

Little Seraphs is our privately run nursery, which forms part of the provision of our limited company ‘CYCA Wales Limited’. Based at our training headquarters, ‘The Palms Centre’, Little Seraphs provides high quality care for children aged 0-5 years old. The nursery has brand new state of the art facilities, both indoor and outdoor, ensuring children are given every opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities in accordance with the Foundation Phase. The highly qualified, bilingual staff offer a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere enabling the children to obtain a wonderful experience at Little Seraphs. Little Seraphs is open on weekdays only from 8am-6pm. Half day sessions are available. All of our nurseries are CSSIW registered, QA inspected, members of Wales PPA, and employ staff who hold enhanced CRB Checks, ensuring the highest quality care is provided.
