The new cameras and signage are in place to help reduce fl y ti pping.

On 22nd September, we visited the scheme with sta from Cyne n and Powys CC to discuss the need to recycle with a many of you as possible.

    We spoke to 12 people.

As a result of that visit, 5 of you asked for your own recycling bins and these were delivered the same week.

Thank you to those of you who have taken part so far.

The business that dumped oil containers on Cwrt Tarell was successfully prosecuted by Powys CC Environmental Dept and ned 825 in Brecon Magistrates Court.

Powys CC has recently decided to move to 3 weekly collecti ons from 23rd November, so we need you to increase your recycling e ort.

If you dont, the bins will not be collected.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS

  • Powys CC have advised us to remodel the bin stores to help reduce fly tipping.

We will be removing the front wooden paneling to open the areas up. This should make it harder for anyone to dump bags in the stores unseen.

We have a contractor cutting the grass in Cwrt Tarrell during the grass growing period.

From 2016, Alun will be back to cut the grass using the ride on mower. This allows us to collect the grass at the same time.

We are putting down anti-slip floor material on the open stairwells and banding to the front of each stair to improve safety. Plans are being drawn up for the new paths and drying areas in the rear communal garden.

The plans will include possible sites for a pram store and bike store. Once they are ready, we will ask for your views.
