President's Message

Hello Fellow Woodworkers! Can you believe it’s the start of another year already? They sure seem to go by faster and faster! Hope you all had a wonderful Holiday Season. My wife and I got to spend time with family and it was great.

I do have some sad news to report. Howard Ford has passed away. His son let us know. Howard was one of the founding Members of the Club and a past President as well. The New Constitution was voted on and passed at the December Meeting. If you want a copy emailed to you please email [email protected]. Remember, nominations for the new Board will be held at this Meeting. The Club really needs new people to fill all of the positions. Most of the old Board Members have served for many years and will not be continuing. With the new Constitution structure, Board positions are flexible. This is your chance to give back to the Club without overly committing too much time. Again, please consider donating your time and energy to keep the Club healthy and strong. Elections are held at the February Meeting and the New Board is installed in March. Hope to see you at the meeting on WEDNESDAY JANUARY 10!

Tom Tom Welz, President Conejo Valley Woodworkers Association

Holiday Party Bill and Julie Aurand hosted the December Holiday Party. We all ate well and had a wonderful time! 38 people attended. There were several door prizes and the gift exchange was fun as well. Thanks to all who brought great food and especially Bill and Julie for all their hard work!
