Directions: Print on heavy cardstock, cut, adhere self-correction tabs to back, and laminate. Stickers of your choosing can be used to mark correct answer instead (just place on back of card, behind the correct response). The self-correction tabs allow children to work independently.

These cards are designed to be used with clothespins or clips to help strengthen the pincer grasp; dry-erase markers, counters, seasonal erasers, or theme manipulatives can be used instead. . Full sets are great for small group, centers, or individual practice. This sample set could be used in a center or for individual practice for a student. Centers – Place in a literacy center with clothespins, clips, dry-erase markers, counters, or other manipulative to mark answer. Children turn the card over to check answer. Individual practice for students who need it – send home with them or include cards in their reading baskets.
