Currently, I am gaining a lot of practice in the interpreting labs at University, not only with my Spanish class but also in collaboration with the students of other European languages, which is expanding my knowledge in a variety of subjects and enhancing my skills.

Interests and achievements European placements;

- Attended and passed three intensive language courses, in Rome, Valencia and Cadiz, living with families; thoroughly enjoyed absorbing myself in a different culture and have immensely strengthened language and social skills.

- During my stay in Spain, I lived with three families and worked in a local Valencian school, that in which, I formed a great bond with both the staff and with the pupils; I also gave private conversational classes to a variety of ages outside of school.

- Completed an online Spanish course through ‘Instituto Cervantes’ offered by CAPS-Home to Home; recently completed the online TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course, again provided through CAPS-Home to Home.

University and A level projects of interest; Created an Italian webpage concerning the WWF; Obtained certificate for Tandem Cagliari-Colchester over 12 weeks via Skype; awarded group runner up in a Translation competition (TTC wetranslate Ltd.) for an English to Spanish translation of The English Cream Tea company. Obtained group award for Best Film in A-level production of short film for Film Studies.

Sport; Active member of Essex evolve gym and previous member of Essex Blades Tennis Halesworth Tennis Club for interest; Had the chance of meeting Andy Murray at a finals victory at Valencia 500 Open tour 2014.
