Profile
Tasawar Hussain joined the Department as a Lecturer in International Relations in September 2013. Hepreviously taught at University of Sargodha and International Islamic University Islamabad. Hussainundertook doctoral thesis entitled Mass Media and Mediated Wars: Role of US Media in the Iraq War2003 at Area Study Center, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad.
Teaching
As a teacher, I believe on appreciating students to participate and encouraging them more towards criticaland independent thinking with clear goals; to polish their intellectual faculties, and to furnish theiranalytical skills. I prefer discussion oriented seminars, and students’ participation instead of cinematicstyle spoon-feeding.
