Director, Latin America Procurement and General Services 2005 – 2007 Responsible for Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Operations for Mexico and Latin America Effectively manage in bound supply chain process with close attention to budgets, timeframes, quality, and
specifications. Member of the cost management committee. Actively engaged in all sourcing activities such as annual budget setting, project and BAU reviews & approvals,
counsel at spec definitions, market data, supplier development, sourcing strategy (sole sourcing, RFI, RFQ, RFP, In sourcing, non core spin offs, e auctions, reverse e auctions), negotiation, vendor selection, non disclosure agreements, contract management, P.O management, catalogue management, vendor management, etc.
Restructured organization, aligned country oversight, and implemented a cluster approach establishing Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, and Argentina as geographical heads reporting to Mexico resulting in an enhanced ability to effectively manage the Region.
Replaced mix and disorganized roles for sourcing strategy and vendor selection for technology and non-technology categories. Separated Procurement Operations to enhance possible conflict of interest according to best practices.
Selected as the lead representative in the Region for the development and implementation of the first Global Citi Expense Management Policy.
Rolled out first regional policies and procedures. Achieved first year of Sufficient Assurance in 100% of in country audits. Automated requests for proposals, RFQ’s, contract management, negotiations, pricing and terms, e-auctions, ERP
implementation and administration, purchase order operations under People Soft for Mexico and Colombia. Outsourced and managed third party vendors for non-core activities such as Print Rooms, Mail Rooms, Archiving, and
Corporate Car Fleet resulting in considerable savings. Achieved 86 million USD in saves and cost avoidance (11% of influenced spend). Managed +420 staff across 18 countries. Responsible for $18 million USD in internal budget. Reported to Chief Procurement Officer, and Global General Services Head, and Regional CFO.
Senior Vice President, Operations 2002 - 2005 Responsible for non-client facing operations for Mexico. As Global Product Owner for Records Management delivered the first complete version of Citi Records Management
Policy. As a result of its implementation Citi exposure to this risk started to be addressed. Regional Record Management Officers in U.K., Japan, United States, Mexico, Brazil, and Singapore reported to me on this role.
Procurement and Institutional Services Head for Mexico. Procurement Coordinator for Latin America. Distribution network of all supplies such as technology items, equipment, stationary, checks, banking material, etc. to
all branches nation wide. Mail rooms of corporate buildings and pouch services to branches. Third party courier’s management. Printing services management across all premises nationwide including business multi functional solutions and print
rooms. Corporate car fleet management (1,080 vehicles including owned and leased). Responsible for Executive Services inclusive of Executive Dining Facilities, Employee Cafeterias, Meeting Rooms,
Corporate Events, and Client Entertainment such as event and sport inventory management, and corporate aircraft coordination for the Region.

Net promoter score (NPS) lead for Corporate Services Mexico 2013 Implemented a model to shadow the Consumer business initiative to measure internal customer satisfaction on middle
and back office services that impact service delivery for Banamex clients.
Key contact person for cost management reengineering 2005 A company wide initiative to review Mexico’s efficiency rations was launched. McKinsey was selected as the
consultant firm. My role was the KCP for any formal communication between all parties. Major process improvements and savings for many front, middle, and back office were achieved by the project.
Global Product Owner for Records Management 2002 Delivered the first complete version of Citi Records Management Policy. As a result of its implementation Citi
