Dimensional inspection of foundations, erection, grouting and all the auxiliary attachments of heavy equipment as per quality inspection plans

Installation of coupling and its guard after alignment has been achieved Lube oil flushing of compressors as per specs and vendor provided procedures Blade Angle, Tip Clearance, Pulley Alignment, Fan Assembly bolt tightening, belt tensioning

and guard installation for fin fan coolers Complete inspection of bolt tightening of each section for Feed Gas Compressor inlet, outlet

duct, WHRU (west heat recovery unit) Installation of secondary steel structure, gratings, hand railing, floor plate, treads & ladders

A visual external inspection of static equipment to find conditions that could impact the ability to maintain pressure integrity or condition that compromise the integrity of the supporting attachments

Carried out internal inspection for physical condition, inspection of degradation of material, thinning & pitting, cracking, erosion, blistering, deformation, trays & internal components repair / replacement of any damaged components

Skirt inspection and tapping with hammer of column different parts to check extreme thinning Inspection of linings (Metallic & non metallic), further investigation of corrosion beneath lining

& deposits & installation of new metallic strip lining where extreme thinning found in the column

Exchanger inspection of tube bundle, tube sheet, impingement plate, baffle plates, tie rods & other parts, differential pressure test and static head fluorescent test (shell side)

Foundation check , to check any settlement, concrete & fire proofing condition To check anchor bolts condition, concrete support, steel supports, grounding connection,

STEEL STRUCTURAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Stagewise inspection of all components like handrails, ladders, platforms, gratings, stairways etc., to ensure whether all parts of structural steel installed with correct elevation, orientation, plumbness, leveling, and bolt tightening as per specified tolerances, ITP, approved procedures and project specification.

Release for grouting, bolt tightening and final inspection of completed structure

WELDING, PIPING & NDT AWARENESS

Material receiving inspection for all incoming material as per approved MTC’s, packing list and delivery notes to ensure the received material is of the same grade and type and there is no physical damage.

Stage wise Inspection of fabrication of pipe spools which includes material identification, inspection of joint fit up, inspection before, during and after welding, checking and witnessing NDT(RT/UT/PT/MT) requirements, witnessing PWHT activities, witnessing hydro tests and pneumatic tests, review of test packages and inspection of coatings etc.

Review of ITP/WPS/PQR/WPQ/MTR, witness and certification of welding procedures and welders qualification tests.

Ensures that welder tests, welding inspection, NDT activities(RT/UT/PT/MT) and NDT evaluations are properly carried out and that certificates are provided accordingly by continuous monitoring and document review

Ensuring site work is being performed meeting all specifications & approved quality procedures and ITP’s.

Incoming material inspection - verifying the material traceability, test certificates, physical condition for any damages or corrosion related problems

Inspection of welding consumables, baking and storage of electrodes. Verifying calibration of welding machines, ovens and welder quivers. Verifying fabrication and erection of pipe spools as per isometric drawing.
