PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

(1) Presently working as Sr. Engineer – (Process, Planning & QC- Heavy Forging Division) at “Sanghvi Forging and Engineering Ltd”, situated at Waghodia GIDC at Vadodara, from 9th March 2015 to present. (Duration - 1.9 Yrs.)

WORK REPONSIBILITIES:

Reviewing of the customer inquiry with PPC and thereby confirming it for acceptance and reporting the same to the director.

Involvement at the time of contract review of the order with PPC, costing dept. & director. Deciding the cut wt. required for making jobs and thereby giving exact wt. to cutting department. Review of every forging batch with PPC & production dept. before production to minimize the

problems & decrease the chance of non-conformance. Preparing the Technology process sheet (i.e. forging process flow – for production department) w.r.t

forging drawing & P/M drawing. Involved as an IPQC (In-process quality control) engineer to ensure the quality during production. Reviewing Y-Y analysis of the forged product which comes under non-conformance & also ensure the

same that won’t raise for the same reason again. Working on NCRs raised for any dimension intolerance or quality defect & try to minimize it by

coordinating with production & PPC. Tackling the customer complaints as & when there is any issues regarding dimensional deviation, on

time delivery, quality issues i.e. material internal defect, material hardness.

(2) Worked as a QC Engineer in “Shree Sponge Steel & Forging Ltd”, situated at POR GIDC at Vadodara, from 20th August 2014 to 7th March 2015 (6.6 months).

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning the production i.e. Mould making & steel melting on daily basis. Checking the sand sample sieve properties on Sieve analysis machine & also checking the mould compression strength in compression test machine. Preparing sieve analysis report and representing the same both graphically and numerically. Thereby assuring the quality & giving clearance to the moulding department to take the sand for further use. Role as a melting engineer, assuring the final composition of the metal to be poured. Testing the sample with the help of spectrometer and also examining the micro-analysis (i.e. Metallography) in microscope as and when required. Preparing the production reports & test certificates on daily basis.

UG IDP PROJECT:

Worked with the project “EVALUATION OF CREEP DEGRADATION OF REFORMER TUBES BY USING VARIOUS NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING TECHNIQUE” running with ERDA (Electrical Research & Development Association) for a period of year as a UG final year project.

CURRICULLAR:

Participated in BTTD seminar held by joint venture of IIM (Indian Institute of Metals), NML (National Metallurgical Laboratory) and TATA steel at Jamshedpur.

Participated in METALLIX 2014, presented paper held in JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY at KOLKATA. Presented paper in the event “FOOTPRINTS X4” held at MS UNIVERSITY VADODARA. Participated in IUCEE-SPEED student workshop “CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION IN ENGINEERING
