Yann Rebecq. Yann Rebecq was pupil and friend of very famous French and Spanish painters: Eugène Baboulène, president of French academy of art, Henri Pertus, one of the best painters in Provence, and Antoni Clavè, one of the best abstract painters in the world. Yann Rebecq likes colours. He likes to create an intimate, quiet and poetic universe, such Impressionists and Nabis painters who he admires. His strokes are usually calligraphic. He is inspired by Provence, Paris, Brittany and also “family life” scenes. He also specializes in interior scenes with intimist lights. Yann Rebecq has been showing his works since several years in different art galleries in France and international art fairs, in USA (New York City, Atlanta, Charlotte, Columbus, Miami, Nashville) and also many times in International Art Expositions in Paris, and in China in Guangzhou, in Hangzhou, In Chengdu, in Beijing, in Shanghai, in Hong Kong, in South Korea (Busan). Some paintings are in public collections in museums in Norway (Christiansen), in Switzerland (Zurich) and in USA (Baltimore). He was invited by city of Nashville in 2001 like Main Artist in International Art Exhibition of Nashville (USA) and by the government of China for a big exhibition in Xuzhou (2013) and 22 paintings were bought for different art museums in China. Some of his paintings were exposed in French embassies and French consulates in different countries. His art works are exposed by art galleries in France and in New Caledonia now.
