In relation to development and construction of the enclosure we offer 3D visualisation.

CUBIC/Stanfo’s customised solutions are found in all feasible environments and industries. The solutions are mainly used within train service, transport, pharmaceutical, food processing, electronic and windmill industries as well as offshore. I.e. industries where production or the surroundings are of such nature that special demands are made to the enclosure of the electrical control systems etc. We deliver quality and unique solutions - from concept to the finished product.

At CUBIC/Stanfo we are very conscious that continuous product development, control and the possibility of customised solutions are decisive parameters, when future solutions are chosen. We manufacture individual solutions with regard to material, design, colour and density. We supply ready to use products with no need for further holes or cutouts.

Based on this we have high demands to our employees, so the customer’s wishes may quickly be converted to a complete and up-to-date product. We have sophisticated and modern CNC equipment as well as welding and bending robots at our disposal.

Ongoing investments in our production facilities, improving and maintaining the employees’ qualifications make it feasible to mass-produce even large high-quality customised solutions at competitive prices. Our production is well-documented, flexible and quickly adaptable - which apart from a quick delivery means absolute uniformity at reordering.

Customised solutions

AtSealingsAt CUBIC/Stanfo we offer two types of sealings in our customised solutions. Our customers may select between a rubber double sealing or a PUR sealing.

For the CUBIC/Stanfo ATEX solutions the seal-ing for KLM products is IP66 approved, and for the STA products it is IP69K approved.

Quality & finishAt CUBIC/Stanfo we offer the same high quality regardless of the product - time after time. Our quality is exquisite, but we provide the opportunity of adapt-ing the finish of the enclosure to match the application of the product. We offer 3 levels of finish. Standard, standard+ and standard++.

A silicone sealing is applied for the ATEX solutions.

Appearance CUBIC/Stanfo’s customised solutions are available in a powder painted or stainless steel version. The stainless steel is available in either EN 1.4301 / AISI 304 steel or acid-resistant EN 1.4404 / AISI 316L steel.

Enclosures for explosive environments - ATEX and IECEXThe

CUBIC/Stanfo’s KLM and STA enclosures are available in two versions. - U certificate (component certificate) is an empty enclosure, however for the STA enclosure inclusive of a mounting plate.- X certificate (product certificate) including clamps.

Both enclosures can be delivered in EN 1.4301 / AISI 304 or EN 1.4404 / AISI 316L with or without a flange plate.

Tests

UL - approvalsUL Type 1, 3R, 4 and 4X for the standard programme and customised enclosures without any limitation to the outer geometry, shape and depth is available.

IPX6 - density The approval includes the entire standard programme. The test result is also valid for panels with a window construction.

IP69KTest carried out with 100 bar pressure and 80 degr. hot water.

It is essential for CUBIC/Stanfo to offer documented solutions to our partners, which fulfil all wishes and demands. This also ap-plies to tests. CUBIC/Stanfo therefore offer pretested solutions, which cover almost all needs.

CUBIC/Stanfo offers the widest and most versatile programme of stainless and painted standard solutions in the market, and all products are characterised by professional workmanship and internal dimensions beyond the market standards.All products are available in either stainless EN 1.4301 / AISI 304 or EN 1.4404 / AISI 316L, and painted ST37 steel.

The CUBIC/Stanfo standard programme is delivered with PUR sealing as a standard. The flexibility and focus on meeting our cus-tomers’ demand is paramount, and therefore all standard products are available with a double sealing. Standard products with a double sealing are not kept in stock.

The standard programme in stainless steel is a stock item, and therefore we offer day to day delivery.

The standard programme is density certified and approved according to IP69K, UL Type1, 3R/4 and 4X.

It is a key issue to get a full benefit from the customers’ competitive position. All standard products are therefore available in pre-cisely the finish demanded by the end user - depending on the line of business. There are 3 levels of finish - a standard version, a standard + and a standard ++. The quality is uncompromising, regardless of the finish.

CUBIC/Stanfo supplies a completely ready for delivery product with no need for further finishing. This means that all products from the standard programme come with extra holes or cutouts - depending on the customer’s demands. Cutouts come with no extra charge.

Stainless floor cabinet type GLV is available with the dimensions 2000 mm high and 400, 600, 800 and 1200 mm wide as a standard. For all versions the depth is 400, 500 or 600 mm. The cabinet consists of: A standard cabinet, fully welded frame with open sides and bot-tom, a mounting plate and a door. The cabinets are manufactured of EN 1.4301 / AISI 304 and with a mat ground outer finish as a standard. Extra mounting plates, cable floor plate, base etc. are available as accessories. Plexi glass lid PLX is mounted on control plates, touch screens and displays in order to protect the components against the water pressure when cleaning. The lid should be lifted for handling, and falls back to the original position when re-leased. PLX is manufactured of a combination of stainless steel / plexi glass and with the standard widths of 203, 303, 370 and 460 mm. PLX is customised for our panels BTP and BTF, but can be mounted on all types of en-closures by means of welded bolts or through bolts.

Airlocks of stainless steel applied for protecting the vent holes in enclosures with a heating effect that needs to be removed. The airlocks come in two varieties, one with a labyrinth packing reaching a density of IPX6, and one which is completely open at the bottom. (This variety has no approval).

The airlocks are available in EN 1.4301 / AISI 304. The airlocks may be combined with ventilators and filters, which are kept in stock. Approvals: IP X6 (variety with labyrinth packing).
