stock. The box where you enter the
quantity you would like to order is
located here. Quantity is entered
according to the unit of measure (EA
for each; IN for inches; etc.)
C. At this stage, you can either:
• “Add to Current Order” (this will
take you to the next step)
• “Add to Wish List”
• “Return to Search Results”
D. On the Inventory Tab:
• The stock levels from the Chicago,
Belfast and Frankfurt locations are

an indicator of coverage and will be

Add Part to Shopping Cart
A. From the Product Detail Page, enter the quantity to
purchase and “Add to Current Order”.
B. Wait for the pop up indicating the part has been
successfully added to your cart. Note: Some parts may
not be ordered through the storefront and you will see
messages with specific instructions.
C. From the mini cart choose “Go to Current Order” and start
the check out process.

A. Select the Contact Person from the pulldown.
The Contact Person will receive the traditional order
confirmation from Bombardier’s SAP system.
If this person is not listed, please contact your Customer
Service Representative to update the dropdown menu list.

D. You may choose to ship your order to different addresses by
choosing the “Multiple Shipments” button.
E. Select your shipping address from the pull down.
• If you do not see the address you want, you may create an
address.
• The address you create will only be valid for your current
order.
• Any changes to your shipping address list must be made by
your Customer Service Representative and will be available
in the pulldown within twenty four hours of creation.

A. Choose your Freight Carrier.
• If your Freight Carrier Account is on file, it will automatically
populate.
• You may overwrite the Freight Carrier Account.
• Select a Freight Forwarder if applicable.
B. You may enter “Special Instructions” which will require review by a
Customer Service Representative before releasing to the
warehouse.
C. Choose the Priority.
D. Select the Aircraft Serial Number or “For Stock”.
E. Choose your requested shipping date.
• This will default to thirty days from today.
• If we have stock on hand, we may ship it to your earlier
than what is indicated by this field.
• If we do not have stock on hand, our team will strive to
ship to you by this date.
• Use “Apply to All” to extend your choices to all parts in your
order

Invalid CombinationsCarriers and Shipping Addresses
• Certain combinations of addresses and carriers will not work. If this happens you will get a warning message and the system will automatically change the carrier to “Other (Manual Forwarder Selection)”.
• This provides you the opportunity to select a different carrier or enter special instructions.
Carriers and Priorities
• Certain combinations of priorities and carriers will provide action messages.
• If you attempt to ship “AOG Next Flight Out”, using Federal Express the combination is not valid.
• You can however select Fedex “AOG Overnight” or Sterling “AOG Next Flight Out”.
• Shipping “AOG Next Flight Out” carriers tends to be more expensive and engages the “red tote process” where Bombardier micromanages an order to ensure it meets the next available flight.
Processing Data
• At this stage the storefront is communicating with Bombardier’s SAP system for• Global stock
availability in your preferred Hub or Depot
• Refreshing pricing, and
• Running the freight engine
• This may take a

the site is processing data.

A. Select the Carrier Service level (for example, overnight, two
day, seven day).
B. If you are ordering for a Service Bulletin, click the checkbox.
C. If inventory is not in your preferred depot or hub, the parts in
question will be listed here. You have a choice to “ship from
any location” or “validate before shipping”.
• Ship from any location: Using our automatic search
sequence, our system automatically chooses stock that is
closest to you. There is no consideration to the stock
location of other items on your order.
• Validate before shipping: Choose this option if you would
like a Customer Service Representative to review your order
and compare to your known shipping preferences before
sending the order to our distribution network. If we have any
questions about your order we will contact you directly.
D. Accept the terms and conditions and place the order. The
terms and conditions can be viewed at any time through the
link at the bottom of the page.

Why don’t I see the options: Ship from any location and Validate before shipping?

A. Specifically for customers who prefer
shipments from Chicago and Frankfurt, there
are scenarios where you might expect to see
messages “ship from any location” or
“validate before shipping” but you will not.
B. If you see stock in alternate locations and
Bombardier has an inbound replenishment
order, you will not see the “ship from any
location” or “validate before shipping”
message during checkout.
We know sometimes you are okay to wait for the
replenishment stock and sometimes you need
the part to ship from anywhere in the world.
Our team reviews this information daily and will
contact you with options. If you have questions,
please give us a call. We are here to help.A

Order Successfully Submitted
A. On screen you will see a message “Thank you for your order”
B. You have the option to print this message
• This message will not be sent to you by email.
C. The “Contact Person” selected during checkout receives the regular “Order Confirmation” message from Bombardier’s SAP.
• Reminder: Bombardier’s shipping plant is displayed on the “Order Confirmation”.
• Reminder: Some customers prefer to set up a shared mailbox so all team members can see all “Order Confirmations”.
• “Order Confirmations” are often sent within minutes. However, if validation is required by a Customer Service Representative it may take longer.

Part Number Messages
A. On the Product Detail page you will see new messages that provide additional information about a part.
B. Here are a few examples from our test environment that have been manipulated to show different scenarios.
• Messages will not be highlighted in yellow in the storefront.
• In this example, Bombardier offers parts with a preferred condition of supply under a different part number. One of the more common conditions of supply are parts with pilot holes (drilled) or parts without pilot holes (undrilled).
• This is an information message only. It is your choice on which part to order.
• If you have questions about the options available please contact the Customer Response Centre.

alternate parts with an easy link to the product detail. Always
refer to the illustrated parts catalogue to ensure you are
ordering the correct part for your aircraft serial number.

Special Export Requirements

Representative before shipping. Additional fees,
export licenses or restrictions may apply.
Dangerous Goods

A. This is a dangerous good and can only be handled by specific freight
carriers.
B. Additional warnings about hazardous materials are seen during
checkout.
C. The error message you will see if your selected carrier is not authorized
to handle hazardous materials.
Stock on Order and Order in Increments Messages

A. In this example, there is no stock on hand.
B. However, the checkbox on the Product Detail Page indicates there is stock
on order for this part. For detailed information on inbound inventory contact
the Customer Response Centre.
C. Based on the Unit of Measure, you will notice this part is ordered in inches
instead of each. The price shown is based on the Unit of Measure.
D. If you try to order 100 inches, you receive an error message telling you to
order in increments of 144 inches.
• If you change the quantity to 144 or 288 or 432 etc. you will be able
to “Add to Current Order” or “Add to Wish List”.

Special Shipping Container or SuperBox

A. Occasionally you may see stock on hand but no price.
These cases will show “Ask for Quote” instead of a
showing a price. Please call or email the Customer
Response Centre for a price.
B. Some parts require specialized shipping containers
when travelling by air. If this container, a “SuperBox”
is required, you will see a message on the Product
Detail Page. The SuperBox will be referenced in your
SAP Order Confirmation but will not show during the
checkout process on this storefront.

A new way to troubleshoot your account
A Customer Service Representative (CSR) can help you if you encounter problems during checkout.
A. You will see a blue lock over the shopping cart icon when a CSR has taken over your cart.
• You can still search for price and availability but you cannot change your current order.
• The CSR will unlock the cart when they are done assisting you.
B. You can unlock your shopping cart at any time but if you do this while we are troubleshooting a problem, the person helping you will lose access.
• Remember that every User of Parts, Price, Availability, and Ordering needs their own log in and password.
