The LTDS - Laboratory of Technology and Social Development of COPPE / UFRJ and

the ICOFORT - International Scientific Committee on Fortifications and Military

Heritage invite the researchers participating in the International Meeting of

Fortifications and Military Heritage ICOFORT RIO 2017, held in Rio de Janeiro, to

spread their research in the publication that will be produced in the first half of 2018,

which will have as a theme the discussions that took place throughout the event.

Until January 31, we will be receiving original articles whose abstracts were approved

and presented at the event. The articles should be characterized as a contribution aimed

at disseminating the results of scientific research and the discussions that have taken

place. They should follow the conventional scientific standard, including abstract

(already approved), introduction, methods, results, discussion and conclusion of the

research. The sources of the data, the object of studies, the analytical procedures should

be described clearly and comprehensively. Tables and figures will be accepted. (The

abstract text should be set to Times, body 11, spacing 1.5 lines, justified, spacing

between 6 pt paragraphs.)

Keywords: three to five words separated by semicolons.

Introduction

We are providing this template to facilitate the composition of your text. We suggest

using the MS Word program, or another compatible one. Normal text should be set to

Times New Roman, body 11, spacing 1,5, justified, spacing between 6 pt paragraphs;

About Submission

Manuscripts should not exceed 15 pages, including abstract, figures, photos, tables,

Papers will be accepted in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Pictures, images and tables (Subtitle: Times New Roman, body 11, bold)

Use the format "jpg", with resolution of 96 dpi. Tables, pictures and images should have

Times New Roman, body 10 font captions.

Other textual elements (minor subtitle: Times New Roman, body 11, italic and bold)

The links should be placed in the footnotes, which in turn should be configured as Times

New Roman, body 10, spacing 3 pt after, simple interlining.

Bibliographic References

Must follow ABNT standards.

The quotations must follow the model (AUTHOR, year, page XX).
