I have a wide array of skills, experience, and knowledge which include:
Teaching and Writing
A “word-smith” at heart, I love to communicate fundamental truths that
might be helpful in causing others to grow and learn.
Organizing and Structuring
Systemic thinking requires someone who can understand the intricacies of
sometimes disparate elements. Put me in almost any system and I will likely
find a way to improve it, making it more efficient and effective.
Imagination and Creativity
I actively seek opportunities to “think outside the box” and do the
unexpected.
Layout and Design
I’ve studied art and design principles since high school. A portfolio is available at pinterest.com/ericwilbanks/my-work/
Counseling and Listening
My ability to “hear what is not said” and to “read between the lines” has made
me an apt counselor and leader. My analytical tendencies make me a studied
and attentive listener.
My real strength lies in my brand-focused mindset, allowing me to establish consistency of voice across multiple products, lines of communication, and business units. My skills and experience in writing, editing, design, and education are what allow me to implement that brand mentality on a day-to-day basis.
My professional experience working with websites, social media, email campaigns and newsletters, and print collateral for a variety of organizations and products is well-documented across the “interwebs.”
I HAVE A LONG, RICH HISTORY IN COMMUNICATIONS.
Eric Wilbanks
Image Architect
They say image is everything. For my tastes, that’s a little over the top. Nevertheless, the way we present ourselves to the world around us can help establish or destroy our reputations before we get a chance to prove them with substance. The question is: What message are you sending and does it really communicate who you are?
Using a well-honed process, I can help you craft major and minor aspects of your
brand image—from social media and content marketing to graphic design, advertising,
and much more—in a way that expresses the very heart of your organization.
Is it possible that you and I share the same goals?
 Do you want a brand
ambassador who can help you and your team to see how each piece of the puzzle fits into an
overarching strategy?
Do you want a writer and editor
who labors over words and phrases because he
understands the stakes of miscommunicating?
Do you want a graphic designer
who cares deeply about communicating a strong,
consistent message through visual mediums?
Your message matters. You need someone with the skills and passion to help you articulate it. I can do that. Here’s how.
