Professional Experience:

1. Current:

-Since 2010 to now: at Foundation Global Initiative on Psychiatry (GIP):

Country Director of Transition in the East Alliance (TEA) Program in Georgia (duties: overall management and methodological supervision of the program directed on psycho-social rehabilitation of the marginalized populations traumatized in a result of Georgian-Russian war of 2008; coordination with the 5 other countries engaged in the program: Vietnam, Laos, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan). TEA program is funded by Dutch Government, implemented by GIP;

-2010 – 2012: at International Alert (UK):

Research Supervisor in the Project “South Caucasus Mediation & Dialogue Initiative” (duties: elaboration of the methodology and supervision of the research studying utilization of societal trauma and enemy image phenomena in internal political power struggle in South Caucasian region), Funded by European Union, implemented by International Alert;

-Since October 2012: at Ilia State University:

co-author and invited professor at Mental Health Masters’ Program implying directions of Social psychiatry and Psychotraumatology (duties: teaching the following courses: “Crises Management”, “Societal Trauma and its Trans-generational Transmission”, “Trauma among Children and Adolescents” and “Prevention of Addiction”; supervising relevant research projects).
