Education and Development” sponsored by HEC-BC under International Strategic

Partnerships in Research and Education (INSPIRE), August-September 2011.

Participated and contributed paper in four days 4TH SSEASR international conference

in Royal University of Bhutan, Thimphu, Bhutan from June 30 – July 3, 2011. The

Theme of the conference was “Mountains in the Religions of South and Southeast Asia:

Place, culture, and Power”. The title of the paper was “The Philosophy of Pilgrimage to

Shrine: Exploring the Value of Travel”.

Participated and contributed paper in two days international conference on “Pakistani

Migration and Tran Nationalism” at the international Peace Research Institute, Oslo,

(PRIO), Norway 14-15 January 2010.

Visited University of Sussex, UK in April 2008, as Link Coordinator for the project titled

“Socio-economic and psychological factors involved in the spread of HIV/AIDS in

Pakistan”. The project was sponsored by Higher Education Commission (HEC)

Islamabad and the British Council Islamabad to develop higher education linkages.

Visited St. Andrews University, Scotland in January 2008 to participate in one week

workshop related to higher education institutional linkages between Pakistan and

Visited University of Glasgow for twenty five days to establish linkages between QAU
