CREDIT COURSES TAUGHT AT OTHER UNIVERSITIES As a teacher at the Utrecht University in the Netherlands, I have taught and developed courses and lectures for students in almost every phase of their study, whenever the subjects were related to infectious diseases mainly in farm animals. These lectures and courses were developed in collaboration with other disciplinary groups. Introductions of new curricula warranted continuous development, update and re-evaluation of the teaching materials. Lecturer virology, bacteriology, vaccinology and diagnostics of companion and farm animals; including

development and implementation of theoretical courses Courses in topics related to infectious diseases during the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of the veterinary

curriculum in working classes; groups up to 25 students Lectures: Notifiable diseases; Respiratory diseases in porcine; Introduction to vaccinology Teaching students during their rotations in small groups of two to eight students Supervision during elective rotations Involved in development of new educational programs for veterinary students. In addition to the

curricula introduced at our faculty in 1995 and 2002, also the Bachelor-Masters program which was started in September 2007

OTHER RELEVANT TEACHING ACTIVITIES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS Based on my experience with curriculum development and curricular changes (Utrecht University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine 1995-2001), I have been actively involved in the development of the DVM curriculum in Calgary. Courses Vetm690.04, VM570, VM583 and parts of VM343 and VM422 as mentioned above were developed and presented. RESEARCH & CLINICAL TRAINEES SUPERVISED UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS SUPERVISED
