Curriculum vitae Ahto Buldas was born in January 17, 1967 in Tallinn and is an Eestonian citizen. Married to Riina Buldas, father of three daughters (Birgit 1998, Piret 2000, Bianka 2011) and one son (Bent 2001). Education: He graduated from Tallinn 43th Secondary School in 1985, received a Master’s Degree in Tallinn University of Technology in 1993 and in 1999 also a doctorate in exact sciences at the same university. Career path: Worked as Tallinn University Technician in 1989–1992 as a lecturer in 1992-1995 as a lecturer in 1992–1995 as a lecturer in 1996-2000 and as a professor since 2001. During 1993– 1994 as a Junior Research Fellow at the Institute of Cybernetics of the Estonian Academy of Sciences, and as a Researcher in 1995–1997. Since 1998, has been working in Cybernetica AS as Senior Research Fellow. He has also worked as Associate Professor at the University of Tartu in 2000–2004 and as a professor in 2004–2011. Curriculum vitae

Ahto Buldas was born in January 17, 1967 in Tallinn and is an Eestoniancitizen. Married to Riina Buldas, father of three daughters (Birgit 1998,Piret 2000, Bianka 2011) and one son (Bent 2001).

Education: He graduated from Tallinn 43th Secondary School in 1985,received a Master’s Degree in Tallinn University of Technology in 1993and in 1999 also a doctorate in exact sciences at the same university.

Career path: Worked as Tallinn University Technician in 1989–1992 as a lecturer in 1992-1995as a lecturer in 1992–1995 as a lecturer in 1996-2000 and as a professor since 2001. During 1993–1994 as a Junior Research Fellow at the Institute of Cybernetics of the Estonian Academy ofSciences, and as a Researcher in 1995–1997. Since 1998, has been working in Cybernetica AS asSenior Research Fellow. He has also worked as Associate Professor at the University of Tartu in2000–2004 and as a professor in 2004–2011.

Recognition:
