Personal profile & Ambition

As a professional Mechanical Engineer I developed a solid expertise in steam systems, including steam traps and condensate

recovery. Besides technical consultancy and engineering, sales and marketing have also been part of my responsibilities. In my last

jobs I developed knowledge on a broader spectrum of energy and utility systems at engineering and (energy) optimization projects. I

am known as a good listener, strong in building relationships and working together with the client to enhance the project results.

Loyalty and team spirit are important values to me. My ambition is to use my technical and analytical skills to create sustainable and

practical designs or system improvements and help to embed them in client’s organization, preferably in part time assignments.

Professional Experience April 2013 - Sept 2016 Energy & Utilities Engineer at Shell Global Solutions - Projects & Technologies (Amsterdam);

- Conceptual design of hot utility systems for LNG, GTL and Carbon Capture & Storage plants.

Responsible for the delivery of Utility Flow Schemes, Heat and Material balances, Equipment

Summery Sheets and review of duty specifications. Support of evaluation of equipment configurations,

key investigations of e.g. cooling philosophy and climatic differences. Coordinating contractor input

and the contribution of other utility teams.

- Operating asset support by development and communication of utility knowledge and best practices

with stake holders via design manuals, key investigations, feasibility studies and lecturing.
