Line and Pattern Inspired by Brazilian artists children form their own repeating/ tessellating patterns and experiment with media/colour for effect.

Arts Week The theme of the week varies each year and includes music, dance, drama and visual art. A range of visual art elements are studied. Tone and Colour Landscapes- inspired by Hockey and Lowry children see how landscapes have been represented in different styles by British artists and attempt their own.

DT Structures: Throne -design of products -accurate measuring & cutting (wood) -reinforcing joins

Food: Bread weighing & measuring following a recipe tailoring recipe to user

Electrical control: wobbler -accurate measuring, cutting & folding -creating a working circuit -adapting given design
