The major challenge of the use of the new curricula is the availability of teaching/instructional materials
Under the UNESCO-Nigeria TVE revitalization project, NBTE-UNESCO organised two workshops for the development of teaching/instructional materials for use with the curricula
First workshop was, December 2008, for 7 disciplines which produce over 240 e-books for 147 subjects.
The Second was held in June 2009, for 6 disciplines. About 110 e-books are currently being developed for about 101 subjects.
Identification experts, those involved in delivering the new curricula
Special meeting to instruct and evaluate progress
Production of Draft Materials Workshop with international consultants Follow-up to finalise documents Production of produced materials
83 TVE Curricula Developed/Reviewed 246 e-books produced, 110 under
development Focus: All TVE to be Reviewed Develop Instructional Materials for all
