1Kyrene Teacher Induction Program Mission StatementThe mission of the Kyrene Teacher Induction Program (KTIP) is to impact student achievement by supporting and engaging new Kyrene teachers in professional development designed to increase teacher effectiveness, enhance reflection, encourage collaboration, utilize district and school resources, and promote adherence to policies and procedures.

2Kyrene Teacher Induction Goals Transmit the culture, beliefs, and philosophy of the Kyrene School District to all teachers new to Kyrene.

Provide on-going support to all teachers within their first three years of teaching in Kyrene.

Enable all teachers to develop expertise in classroom management, instructional management, curriculum, assessment, differentiation, technology, leadership, and other elements in teaching to high quality teaching standards.

3Year OneYear TwoYear ThreeQuarterly Mentor Meetings for all newly hired regular education classroom teachers at school sites. Non-regular education classroom teachers will meet monthly with content area mentors. XTeachers with 3 years or less experience will meet twice a year.
