2011-2012: National Project Coordinator for the Monitoring African Food and
Agriculture Policies Project funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. I managed
a team of four local researchers with technical backstopping from Food and Agriculture
Organization, Rome Italy. I successful lead the team to produce country report, 6 policy
briefs, 8 technical notes, and 2 special policy papers. Managed to organize policy

lobbying to parliamentarian committee working on agriculture as part of dissemination
of evidence generated from the research. Coordinated dissemination of project results
to Agriculture Working Group, regional an international conferences.
2010-2012: Node Country Coordinator for Food Agriculture and Natural Resource Policy
Analysis Network (FANRPAN). I was responsible for the coordination of local policy
advocacy activities on issues related to Agriculture and Natural Resources, logistic
management of local and international conferences for the network and preparation of
financial reports for all national activities.
2009-2011: Project Coordinator for the Chronic Poverty Research Center on a project
titled Chronic Poverty and Development Policy: Q2Research in Support of the 2010
Poverty Reduction Strategy in Tanzania. Managed to produce qualitative guide for the
field work, identification of household clusters from the National Panel Survey for data
collection, Management of field logistics, recruitment of consultants, data base
management, prepared policy brief for key recommendations, coordinated publication
of 9 papers and one book.
2011-2012: Project Coordinator in Tanzania for the ASARECA project on Strengthening
Food Security Policy in Eastern Africa funded by the World Bank and it was implemented
in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda.
2009-2010: Project Coordinator for the Program Budgeting and Benefit Incidence
Analysis in Education, Water and Health Sectors. Conducted analysis and prepared
reports on program budgeting and benefit incidence analysis using Ms. Excel for
education, water and health sectors. Organized policy dialogues to share analysis results
and coordinated TV and Radio interviews for researchers to disseminate results. I was
responsible for quarterly and annual reporting of the project.
