and be able to do? As a standards-based district, we need to
identify specifically and clearly the standards, grade level
expectations, and evidence outcomes that all students should learn.

we must regularly monitor student learning through a variety of

Curriculum by Design: Making Sense of the New Colorado Academic
Standards This seminar will provide you with further training on
the SVVSD Teaching and Learning Cycle and orient you to the new
Colorado Academic Standards. You will also have a collaborative
opportunity to plan using curricular resources that support the new
standards. Dates: June 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 and August 2 or 5 Target
Group: Pre-K-12 teachers and principals, all grade levels and
content areas. The fee is waived and.5-semester hour of
professional development and salary credit is offered in the hope
that all district teachers attend one of these summer sessions.
