CUNY prepares students for every career on earth and even a few in space through over 1,750 academic programs. Students can take courses across the University's vast academic network while remaining a fixture at their home college, or transfer between CUNY colleges, or even design their own major in our CUNY Baccalaureate Program.
Every CUNY graduate completes 30 college credits in our comprehensive core curriculum. In short, our science majors choose to take fine arts, acting, or photography classes — and our aspiring artists choose from among biology, modern languages and computer science classes. Ensuring that our graduates are well-rounded global citizens exposed to diverse ideas and people — and equipped to tackle the challenges of an ever-changing world.
