University HighlightsMacaulay Honors College Since 2001, the Macaulay Honors College has provided students with hands-on internships and research opportunities, substantial community service and global learning opportunities and a commitment to provide the skills and experiences to excel in college and beyond . Sophie Davis School of Biomedical EducationFounded to recruit underrepresented minorities into medicine, increase medical services in historically underserved areas, and increase the availability of primary care physicians and dentists in New York State . The program offers three unique and challenging programs leading to careers in medicine:

• BS-MD Program: This innovative five-year program integrates undergraduate education with the first two years of medical school .

• Physician Assistant (PA) Program: This 28-month upper division program leads to a BS degree and certification as a Physician Assistant .

• BS-DDS Program: The dental program is designed, similar to the BS-MD program, as a seven-year integrated curriculum leading to the Bachelor of Science (BS) and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees .

Sophie Davis School of Biomedical EducationFounded to recruit underrepresented minorities into medicine, increase medical services in historically underserved areas, and increase the availability of primary care physicians and dentists in New York State . The program offers three unique and challenging programs leading to careers in medicine:

• BS-MD Program: This innovative five-year program integrates undergraduate education with the first two years of medical school .

• Physician Assistant (PA) Program: This 28-month upper division program leads to a BS degree and certification as a Physician Assistant .

• BS-DDS Program: The dental program is designed, similar to the BS-MD program, as a seven-year integrated curriculum leading to the Bachelor of Science (BS) and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees .

Sophie Davis School of Biomedical EducationFounded to recruit underrepresented minorities into medicine, increase medical services in historically underserved areas, and increase the availability of primary care physicians and dentists in New York State . The program offers three unique and challenging programs leading to careers in medicine:

• BS-MD Program: This innovative five-year program integrates undergraduate education with the first two years of medical school .

• Physician Assistant (PA) Program: This 28-month upper division program leads to a BS degree and certification as a Physician Assistant .

• BS-DDS Program: The dental program is designed, similar to the BS-MD program, as a seven-year integrated curriculum leading to the Bachelor of Science (BS) and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees .
