And so ends another term at CPS. Again, looking at our calendar, the amount of high quality teach-ing and learning as well as high level sports never ceases to amaze me. I‟m sure we did a whole lot less when I was at school!

The final week of term 1 has some fantastic events happening. On Wednesday evening we have our Disco for Infants and Primary. This is a great event and one that our new SRC has been looking for-ward to! The Infants disco is on between 5-30 and 6-30pm and the primary Disco is from 6-45pm until 8.30pm. Each costs $4.00.This is a great night out for our new Kinders as they come along to their first after school event. We ask that Kinder parents do a quick drop and leave to assist in the smooth running of the disco.

On Thursday it is our Annual Easter Hat Parade. Our parade will take place on the basketball courts. If the weather is wet, we will head for the hall. This is a great family event so all nans and pops are welcome to attend. Have a trial run to make sure that the hat is “wearer friendly”. We have had some disappointments in previous years.

After the Easter Hat Parade, we will be having the draw of the P&C Easter Raffle. This is a great ef-fort from our P&C and is hugely popular with eve-ryone.

We finish our Thursday with a Special Scripture Service which will be starting at 12.00pm.

After all that, I think the children deserve a break!

Please stay safe over the break – especially if you are travelling. Remember to have a break and swap drivers if you are feeling weary.

Many thanks and hugs to the mums who helped me cater for 300 guests last Friday, Grandparents Day, you kept me sane. All those slaps up the back of the head and calm down Deb, paid off.

SCHOOL CONTRIBUTION AND MATHS BOOKS The school contribution will be $35 per child, 4th child free. Maths books for Year 3 to 5 only $14 per book. Invoices will go home this week. All payments to be made to the school office.

EASTER HAT PARADE - Thursday Our Easter Hat Parade commences at 9.30am followed by the Easter Raffle draw. All parents welcome.

LIBRARY NEWS

SUDAKO performance at the MEC has been extended to all Year 3 students. There are still seats available but you will have to be fast with the return of your permission note. April - Paper Crane Month This week we will begin making
